BlackFlash Magazine has teamed up with AKA artist-run to commission a joint project between Dominique Petrin (QC) and Jon Vaughn (SK). During Pétrin’s Fall exhibiton The Living Room and Other Displays at AKA, Vaughn experimented with an installation entitled Chasm Drifter in AKA’s new project space. The similarities between their visual arts practice connect directly around the use of found imagery, the silk-screening process and hypnotic patterning and colour selections. The artists also share a connection to experimental and electronic music; a clear influence on their visual practices.
The artist multiple is available to new one or two year subscribers of BlackFlash Magazine. Subscriptions may be purchased online, by phone or in our office at 424 20th Street West, Saskatoon, SK.
