Meichen Waxer is 25 years old, and was born in Aurora, Ontario and currently lives in Montreal, Quebec. Meichen completed her BFA at The Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, Ontario, with a major in Photography.The driving force in Meichen’s art practice are the relationships between presence and the gendered body. She is primarily focused in photo-based mediums while actively experimenting in textiles and drawing/painting.
